Badgers 'mauled' by Killeen
Kangaroos rush for 318 yards behind massive front line, defeating Lampasas 38-3 in home finale
      The Badgers' defensive line saw its share of monsters on Halloween night. Fielding an enormous offensive line consisting of three juggernauts who weigh over 285 pounds apiece, the Killen Kangaroos manhandled Lampasas at the line of scrimmage and on the scoreboard, posting a 38- 3 victory over the Badgers.

      Sometimes it is all about the luck of the draw. Coming two votes shy of earning an eighth seed at its first-ever trip to regionals, the Lampasas tennis team's name was put into a hat for random selection to determine the tournament's remaining matchups.

Both Badgers' freshman squads bounce Kangaroos
      Both Lampasas' freshman football squads posted convincing wins over Killeen last Thursday evening inside Badger Stadium. The Blue team opened the doubleheader by recording a 13-0 shutout before the White team pulled away in the second half of its game with the Kangaroos, earning a 30-12 victory.

Hunter safety course offered on Nov. 16
      Jamie Smart will offer a field course and final examination for hunter education certification on Nov. 16 from 2-5 p.m. at the Lampasas County Show Barn. Certification costs $15 and is available to all hunters ages nine and older.
