Court Appointed Special Advocates for the Highland Lakes Area will hold an open house on Thursday from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the CASA office, 1719 Ridgeview in Kingsland.

CASA for the Highland Lakes Area volunteers advocate for children from Blanco, Burnet, Lampasas, Llano and San Saba counties who enter the foster care system because of abuse and/or neglect.

The Hon. Robert Hofmann, associate judge of the 33rd Judicial District, will be the guest speaker.
