New precinct chairs, election watch party announced by Burnet GOP

Kathy Sievers will represent Precinct 15, and Steven Todd will serve as precinct chair for Precinct 20.

"We are glad to have them on board with us during this exciting time in our election cycle of choosing our next president of the United States," said Linda Rogers, Burnet County Republican chairman.

Ms. Sievers works at the Burnet County Sheriff's Office and has been in the law enforcement field for more than 23 years.

Todd is an attorney with the Texas Attorney General's office in Austin.

Mrs. Rogers also invited all Burnet County Republicans to attend the Tuesday Election Night Watch event at GOP headquarters on the downtown square in Burnet.

"We will get started about 6:30, and our first election returns (early voting results) should be coming in around 7:30," Mrs. Rogers said.

Those who attend are asked to bring a dish of finger foods or snacks.
