Students urged to apply for fellows program
The Texas Historical Commission is seeking student applicants for its Preservation Fellows Program, which strives to increase the diversity of professionals working in the field of historic preservation.
The initiative targets undergraduate and graduate students to promote their interest in pursuing fields of study in history, preservation, architecture, landscape architecture, archeology, downtown revitalization and heritage tourism.
Fellows receive a $5,000 stipend for eight weeks of employment under the supervision of the THC.
