The District 8 Farm Bureau Miss Farm Bureau, Talent find and Speech Contests were held in Temple on Oct. 18.

Sara Jackson, daughter of Randle and Diana Jackson, represented Lampasas County in the Miss Farm Bureau Contest, taking the runner-up spot.

She is Miss Lampasas County Farm Bureau for 2008 and is a student at Lampasas High School.
