Barbara Smith Barbara Louise Smith, 60, of Lampasas died Oct. 25, 2008, at her residence.

Funeral services were Oct. 30 at 10 a.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas with the Rev. Kevin Veazey officiating. Burial was at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Smith was born July 16, 1948, in Lampasas, the daughter of Robert L. and Frances Louise Huffman Clarkston.

She grew up in Lampasas and attended local schools.

She married Jerry Smith on Oct. 1, 1992.

Mrs. Smith was a member of First Assembly of God in Lampasas.

Survivors include her husband of Lampasas; a daughter, Ann Clarkston, of Lampasas; brothers, Robert Earnest Clarkston and Bucky Clarkston, both of Lampasas; two stepbrothers, Glenn Rutledge and Victor Rutledge; and two stepsisters, Linda Sue Brown and Anita Moody.

The family requested memorials be made to First Assembly of God, U.S. Highway 190, Lampasas, TX 76550.
