Lampasas Independent School District agriscience teacher and FFA adviser Dr. Steve Forsythe works on finalized versions of agriscience career cluster courses for future updates and changes to Texas curriculum. Forsythe and other Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills committee members met with Texas Education Agency staff Oct. 8-11 in Austin to finalize and fine-tune career and technology courses by the Nov. 1 deadline. Additional processes include public input and recommendations prior to the State Board of Education's review.
