The Office of Rural Community Affairs will present an oversized, ceremonial check to the city of Lometa, which received a grant for $488,714 from the agency's Renewable Energy Demonstration Pilot Program.

The grant will enable 50 kilowatts of solar panels to be installed at the wastewater treatment plant, which is owned and operated by LCRA and serves Lometa.
