Adamsville Heritage Association's booth during the Herb & Art Fest was a successful fund-raising event for the group.

Next up, the association plans to participate in the Town & Country Study Club's Arts and Crafts Show Nov. 1 in the Lampasas County Courthouse.

The group also is working on its first Christmas Tour slated Dec. 6 from 6-9 p.m. at the "strip" on U.S. Highway 281.

The heritage association, working in conjunction with the Adamsville Volunteer Fire Department, is asking for donations of multi-colored lights for the events. Decorations will be installed and lighted Nov. 29.

For more information or to donate lights, contact Pat Moore at 768-3355, Ruth Krivokucha at 768-3430 or Charlotte Seale at 768-3330.

Recent accomplishments of the heritage group include donation of two crepe myrtle trees and a dynamite red to the fire department.
