Lucille Thompson Graveside services for Lucille Lena Gaddy Thompson, 86, of Lampasas were Oct. 16, 2008, at Senterfitt Cemetery with Minister Reid Schaub officiating.

Mrs. Thompson died Oct. 14 at Regal Nursing & Rehab.

She was born April 25, 1922, in Lampasas, the daughter of Amos Andrew and Elva Ernie Wise Gaddy.

She married Delmer Joe Thompson on Oct. 28, 1939, in Lampasas.

Mrs. Thompson was a Baptist and a homemaker and had lived around Lampasas all of her life.

Survivors include a daughter, Betty King of Lampasas; a son, Kenneth Thompson of Lampasas; grandchildren, Deborah Papp, Elizabeth Cox, Joseph Thompson and Lena Nester; great-grandchildren, Jennifer Keen, Matthew Keen, Rebecca Keen, Sean Cox and Morgan Botello; and a greatgreat grandson, Colton Keen.

She was preceded in death by her husband and by two sons, Patrick and Jerry Thompson.
