The Texas Gourd Society will present the 13th annual Lone Star Gourd Festival Oct. 18-19 in Fredericksburg.

There will be a competition exhibition featuring growers, crafting and fine art featuring everything from baskets to birdhouses.

A Kids Kraft Korner will be offered, along with door prizes, raffles and demonstrations.

Admission is $5 for adults, and free for those under 12.
