Three Lampasas High School Badger bandsmen were selected to the All-Region Jazz Band at tryouts in Temple recently. Ethan Moses, left, placed fifth on trumpet to advance to area. Daniel Lumpkin, center, took second on tenor saxophone, and Chris Thomas placed second on trombone. Students competed against other 4A and 5A musicians from the region including Bryan/College Station, Waco, Temple and Killeen. The trio will perform Nov. 8 in Temple. Glenn Grant is the director.
