Pesticide CEU opportunities offered to applicators

Those needing Continuing Education Units in order to maintain a pesticide applicator's license can get 15 hours between now and the end of the year.

On Tuesday from 6-8 p.m., a Parasite Control Clinic will be held at the Burnet County Fairgrounds meeting room. Two CEUs will be offered.

On Thursday at 1 p.m., a hay show will be held at the Burnet County Fair Barn. The program will end with a barbecue meal at 6:30 p.m. Cost is $10, and five CEUs will be offered.

On Oct. 23 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., a Beef Cattle Marketing Program will be held at the Llano County Community Center. Three CEUs will be offered.

On Dec. 2 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., a CEU conference is set at the American Legion Hall in Llano. Five CEUs will be offered.

Preregistration is required for all programs.
