Author to share story of breast cancer survival

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Metroplex Hospital invites the public to a Metroplex Adventist Hospital luncheon to hear newly published author and breast cancer survivor Patricia B/. Rodgers who will share her story.
The event is Wednesday from noon to 1 p.m. in the Metroplex Courtyard. Box lunches will be provided for $3 per person.
In her new book, "All I Want for Christmas is My Two Tattoos," Ms. Rodgers explains how she coped with er diagnosis and fought cancer.
Ms. Rodgers will donate a portion of the proceeds from book sales to the Sue Mayborn Women's Center.
Participants have a chance to win a copy of the book during the luncheon.
