Keith and Amy Strickland of Lampasas announce the birth of their daughter, Madison Nicole, born at 2:28 a.m. on Aug. 28, 2008, in Temple.

At birth, Madison weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces and was 17 1/2 inches in length.

She joins a brother, Lance Allen Strickland.

Grandparents are Barney and Linda Strickland of Lampasas, Sandy and Joe Chartier of Kempner, and Garry Summers of Copperas Cove.

Great-grandparents are Barney and Joy Strickland of Dublin, Monk and Shirley McKay of San Angelo, and Donald and Mary Nell Summers of Centerville.
