To all Aggies and friends of Aggies: While shopping in Lampasas recently, I asked a store manager why he carried so much merchandise advertising the University of Texas and so little Texas A&M University merchandise. After he told me that no one would buy Aggie goods, he said and I quote: "We are Aggie haters in this store."

Since some local business people feel this way, I suggest we Aggies spend our money more selectively and shop where we are appreciated.
