Mrs. Barrett
      Sue Nance Barrett died Sept. 11, 2008, at North Austin Medical Center after a short battle with cancer. She was 61. Funeral services are Sept. 16 at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Lampasas with Ministers Reid Schaub and David Bruce officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas.

      Funeral services for Georgia Lee Grindle, 81, of Lampasas were Sept. 13, 2008, at Sneed Funeral Chapel with Minister Reid Schaub officiating. Burial was at Center Cemetery near Lometa. Mrs. Grindle died Sept. 11 at Rollins Brook Community Hospital.

      Funeral services with full military honors for Lampasan George William Murgatroyd Jr., 66, are Sept. 16, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Briggs- Gamel-Wilcox Funeral Chapel in Lampasas. The Rev. Rodney Andrews will officiate, and burial will be at Bend Cemetery.
