Mari Angelique Salazar, 33, of Lampasas was given five years' deferred adjudication probation for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. The sentence was handed down in 27th District Court with Judge Joe Carroll presiding. Ms. Salazar also must pay a $1,000 fine and $640 in restitution.

David Lee Carroll, 45, of Marble Falls, charged with two cases of theft over $1,500 and under $20,000, had one charge dismissed.

The second was punished as a Class A misdemeanor. He was given two years' deferred adjudication probation and a $1,500 fine and ordered to pay $2,250 in restitution.

The judge amended the indictment of Steven Thomas Morris, 21, of Kingsland from a charge of theft over $20,000 and under $100,000 to theft over $1,500 and under $20,000. It was punished as a misdemeanor, and Morris received two years' deferred adjudication probation and a $500 fine. He also must pay $875 in restitution.

Edward Hershall Alman, 29, of Burnet is on today's docket for a plea hearing for criminal conspiracy.

Anthony Richard Evans, 47, faces a pretrial hearing today for driving while intoxicated and felony repetition.

For possession of a controlled substance, Douglas Lynn McGuffey, 22, is set to enter a plea today.

Morgans Point resident Ty Brooks McCoy, 17, is to enter a plea on Sept. 26 for theft over $1,500 and under $20,000.

An Oct. 10 pretrial hearing is set for Schcobi Laron Grimes, 33, for possession of a controlled substance, cocaine.

A revocation hearing is Sept. 26 for James Estep, 38, for theft over $1,500 and under $20,000.

A jury trial is on the Sept. 29 docket for Ty Sterling Spieker, 33, for driving while intoxicated with a child passenger.

Gilbert Flores Jr., 28, is set for an Oct. 27 jury trial for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

Justin James Honey, 25, of Kempner is to enter a plea on Oct. 17 for criminal mischief.

For aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, Timothy Wayne Whitley, 57, is slated for a pretrial hearing on Oct. 24.
