Local law enforcement officers and public safety officials will host the 25th National Night Out event on Oct. 7 from 6-9 p.m. at the H-E-B parking lot.

National Night Out is an opportunity for citizens, law enforcement and other officials to join forces to promote crime-prevention awareness and to send a message that the community is working together to prevent crime.

Residents are invited to meet with officials, have hot dogs and drinks and music with their neighbors.
