Scott Brockman, Ricky McQueen and J.D. Prosise of Ron Ischy Masonry erect scaffolding on one wall of Jerry Goodson's surveying business downtown. The site is earmarked for a mural coordinated by Vision Downtown Lampasas! in its ongoing efforts to beautify the city and promote the downtown area. The effort kicked off several weeks ago when dozens of residents brought a variety of cowboy boots to be arranged and photographed for a mural to be painted on the wall. Residents will have the opportunity to participate in the paint-by-numbers event coming soon. VDL! committee members plan this as the first of several murals to embellish walls on historic buildings.
