Lampasas County Democrats and the Democratic Women's Association of Lampasas gathered for their annual Labor Day Picnic at Hancock Park Pavilion. Various Democratic candidates were on hand to visit with constituents. Hamburgers and hot dogs with all the trimmings were served, and a quilt and cake auction, with Charles Fields auctioneering, brought in funds for the party's coffers.
