Mrs. McBryde
      Virginia Dale McBryde of Brownwood died Aug. 24, 2008. She was 70. Visitation is Sept. 13 from 2-4 p.m. at the Holiday House in Lampasas. Her body will be cremated. Mrs. McBryde was born Jan. 15, 1938, in Oakalla, to Daily and Juanita Smith Kendrick.

Ms. Roberts
      A memorial service for Sandra Dee Roberts, 46, of Lampasas is Sept. 9, 2008, at 10 a.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas. Her body will be cremated. Ms. Roberts died Sept. 4 at Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple. She was born Nov. 20, 1961, in Burnet, to Douglas Odell and Laquita "Kitty" Warren Stockman.

Mrs. Short
      Shirley Evelyn Short, 95, of Lampasas, formerly of Worthington, Ind., died Sept. 6, 2008, at a Lampasas nursing home. Funeral services will be in Worthington next week, and a service for the family in Texas will be planned at a later date.
