Mr. Burr
      A memorial service for Raymond Eugene Burr, 53, of Paragould, Ark., formerly of Lampasas, was held Aug. 30, 2008, at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett, Ark. Mr. Burr died Aug. 27. He was born Sept. 8, 1954, in Kennett, the son of Tommy "Red" and Rose Annette Fuller Burr.

Mrs. Walden
      Opal Grace Walden, a resident of San Marcos, died Aug. 30, 2008, at age 85. Funeral services are Sept. 5 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Wimberley. Burial will be at 12:15 p.m. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio.
