Kelly Dunn, principal at Taylor Creek Elementary in Lampasas ISD, will serve a second term as District 12 president for the Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors Association.

Dunn and his fellow officers from the 20 TEPSA districts across the state were installed at the association's July Leadership Conference.

"This team of educational leaders is in the game for kids," said TEPSA executive director Sandi Borden. "Their focus is providing a quality education for all Texas schoolchildren."

Dunn received a master's degree from Tarleton State University and has served as a district officer since 2003. He also is an adjunct professor in child growth and development at Central Texas College.

Since 1917, TEPSA has served Texas principals and supervisors. TEPSA has more than 5,800 members. These administrators supervise more than 150,000 teachers who direct the activities of more than 2.4 million pre-kindergarten through eighth-grade schoolchildren.
