The free ice cream didn't stay frozen for long in the warm weather, but the skies remained rain free for the duration of the event.
Athletic director Joey McQueen kicked off the festivities by welcoming those in attendance, followed by performances from the Badger Band, the Flames drill team and the high school cheerleaders.
Then the students were introduced according to grade with the seventh-grade girls going first, followed by the seventh-grade boys and so on up through the 12th grade. Lady Badgers volleyball head coach Tracey Myers was responsible for announcing the names of the participating girls while Badgers varsity football head coach Ryan Bailey called out the names of all the boys.
At the end of the event, the Badger Band took to the field once again where they performed the school song under the direction of band director Richard Hooper.
