Lometa student on honor roll
Elisha Whisenhunt Lometa High School senior Elisha Whisenhunt has qualified for induction into the 2007-08 National Honor Roll.
The honor roll recognizes highachieving high school and middle school students.
"Young people such as our inductees, who work hard to attain academic success, deserve to be congratulated," said Lynn Romeo, publisher of the National Honor Roll. "Honoring their achievements provides motivation and encourages them to continue striving toward their goals. We're proud to include them in the National Honor Roll."
The honor roll offers several benefits that can contribute to the success of its students.
Those recognized for 2007-08 are qualified to share $25,000 among 25 of its inductees, with all members invited to compete for them.
Only students with a B or better average are eligible for induction into the National Honor Roll.
