Tello-Speck Dr. Robert and Rebecca Tello of Loveland, Colo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Christine, to Jake Adam Speck, both of New York City.

The couple plan a Sept. 15, 2008, ceremony in Lyons, Colo.

Miss Tello is a 1999 Thompson Valley High School graduate. She received a bachelor of music degree in 2003 in musical theater from Belmont University in Nashville, Tenn.

She is pursuing a career in theater in New York City.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Bob and Vickie Speck of Nashville, and the grandson of Weldon and Margie Kirby of Lometa.

A graduate of Christ Presbyterian Academy in 2000, and Ameri- can Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York, Mr. Speck is an actor/singer in the Broadway musical "Jersey Boys" in New York.

He was signed with Asylum Records and pursued a country music career for several years before moving to New York City.
