The late Paul Murray, a classic car enthusiast, is shown with his Plymouth, Pinky. The September gathering of Classics at the Classic is dedicated to Murray. Classics at the Classic will meet in the back parking lot of Storm's Drive-In Sept. 6 at 7 p.m. The event will be dedicated to Paul Murray, who with others helped Sharon Carrigan plan the first classics gathering at Storm's.

Murray died before the first gathering was held. "Paul would be proud of our gatherings and of the car show," said Mrs. Carrigan. "Even though he cannot be here with us, his spirit lives within his friends and the classics he loved so much."

The Car Show Committee seeks anyone interested in working on the 2009 event. A meeting will be held on the patio Sept. 6 at 6 p.m.
