Lampasas County Rodeo Association held its first ranch sorting July 19. A total of 65 teams competed. Ranch sorting is open to all ages, from beginners to experienced riders. The next competition is scheduled for Aug. 16, with books opening at 6 p.m. and sorting to start at 7 p.m. For more information phone (512) 752-3800.
