Reduced-price, free meals offered by LISD
Lampasas Independent School District provides free and reduced-price meals to families who meet federal income guidelines.
Cost of a reduced-price meal is $.40 for lunch and $.30 for breakfast. Regular-priced meals are $1.75 for lunch for kindergarten through sixth grade, and $2 for grades seven through 12.
Full-price breakfast is $1 for all grades.
Information on application forms is confidential and will only be used for the federal breakfast and lunch programs.
Students who qualify for food stamps or qualify for Temporary Assistance to Needy Families should only list the child's name and food stamp or TANF number to qualify.
LISD will use direct certification information provided by the Department of Agriculture. Any family that received a letter stating a child has been approved for free meals through the direct certification program does not need to fill out an application.
Students living in the same house who are not listed in the letter must have an application filled out.
