At the recent AMVETS Post 80- sponsored American Red Cross community blood drive, 72 pints of blood were donated.

"For such a hot day, the turnout was wonderful," said Wanda Meyers, local drive coordinator.

Clark Corbin earned a 15-gallon pin.

Mrs. Meyers thanked the donors and volunteers for their time.

Next drive is Nov. 3 from 12:30- 6:30 p.m. at the AMVETS post home.
