The 2008-09 Lampasas High School Fish Camp will be held Aug. 20 from 2-5 p.m. at Bozarth-Fowler Gym. Parents and incoming freshmen are encouraged to attend.

Those in attendance will receive a class schedule, meet their teachers, counselors and administrators; learn their way around the LHS campus; receive a crash course over the LHS Student Code of Conduct; and eat hot dogs cooked by school administrators.

Each incoming freshman will receive a Badger T-shirt.

Anyone interested in helping with the LHS Student Council's school supply drive may bring a donation to camp. Collected items will be delivered to local students for the start of the new school year.

Also, donations of clothing will be accepted during the event for distribution to needy families.
