Ag clinic set Aug. 19 at local FB
      Texas AgriLife Extension Service in Lampasas, Burnet and Llano counties will host the CenTex Cow/ Calf Clinic Aug. 19 at the Lampasas County Farm Bureau Building on U.S. Highway 281 North. Registration begins at 8 a.m., and the program starts at 8:30 a.m.

Rainwater harvesting education program to be held in Burnet
      The Burnet County office of Texas AgriLife Extension Service and Central Texas Groundwater Conservation District will present an educational program on rainwater harvesting and water well health and safety. The program, set Aug. 19 at 7 p.m., is open to the public at 401 E. Jackson in Burnet.
