Walk to benefit MS on tap

Hundreds of Central Texas residents will take steps toward creating a world free of multiple sclerosis at the Walk MS: NexBank Walk set Sept. 20 at Carl Levin Park in Harker Heights, 400 Miller's Crossing.

The goal is to raise $5,000 to help the estimated 20,000 Texans living with multiple sclerosis and their families served by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Lone Star chapter.

The event raises funds to support research to end MS and funds programs for those affected by MS.

Everyone is invited to participate in a day of walking which begins with registration at 8 a.m. The walk starts at 9 a.m.
