The annual sales tax holiday will run Aug. 15-17. During that weekend, most clothing and shoes priced less than $100 can be purchased tax free. The break applies to both children's and adults' apparel.

School backpacks and messenger bags less than $100 also are included in the tax holiday, but school supplies are taxable.
