      The following arrests were reported by law enforcement officials. July 29 -- Thomas Wayne Graham, 39, of Lampasas for assault causing bodily injury. He posted bond and was released Wednesday from the Lampasas County Jail.

Man gets 12-year jail sentence
      John Ebon Woodruff, 34, was sentenced to 10 years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Institutional Division and two years in state jail on two counts of illegal dumping: disposal. He was credited with jail time served.

      Tom Dahl, Texas Department of Transportation area engineer for Lampasas, San Saba and Mills counties, recently earned certification as a Certified Floodplain Manager.

CTC registration slated for fall 2008 semester
      Central Texas College's online registration for the central campus fall 2008 semester is under way. Returning students and those students who have completed the admissions process, including academic advisement and all required testing, may then register using the CTC online WebAdvisor system.
