Lampasas Independent School District agriscience instructor Dr. Steve Forsythe, left, and Texas Land Bank office President Lee Loeffler were part of a Texas Education Agency vertical integration curriculum meeting last month in Austin. The ag experts were part of an industry input committee meeting held to facilitate the rewriting of career and technology curriculum as part of House Bill 3485. The committee of educators and industry representatives are assisting in revising/rewriting Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills standards for agriscience courses in Texas public schools.
