Bogart is All-American Scholar
The United States Achievement Academy has announced that Marisa Bogart of Kempner has been named an All-American Scholar.
The USAA established the All- American Scholars Award Program to offer deserved recognition to superior students who excel in the academic disciplines. All-American Scholars must earn a 3.3 or better high school grade-point average. Only scholars selected by a school instructor, counselor or other qualified sponsor are accepted.
Marisa, who will be a sophomore at Lampasas High School, was nominated for this honor by Lauren Lansford, an LHS biology teacher.
Marisa will appear in the All- American Scholar Yearbook which is published nationally.
"Recognizing and supporting our youth is more important than ever before in America's history," said Dr. George Stevens, founder of the United States Achievement Academy. "Certainly students recognized as All-American Scholars should be congratulated and appreciated for their dedication to excellence and achievement."
Marisa is the daughter of Michael and Maria Ramminger, and the granddaughter of Gloria Martinez, all of Kempner.
