Ranch rodeo slated at Killeen

3C Cowboy Fellowship will sponsor a ranch rodeo Saturday at 6:30 p.m. at the Killeen Rodeo Grounds. Gates open at 5:30 p.m., and there is no charge for admission.
Events include doctoring, mugging, wild cow milking, penning, a calf scramble for kids ages eight to 12 and a three-man wild steer saddling competition for the first six teams.
There is no entry fee for the steer saddling event, open only to non-ranch rodeo participants.
The winning team will receive $300.
Concessions will be available, and the first 1,000 people through the gate will receive a free barbecue sandwich, chips and soft drink.
