The Central Texas College (CTC) Continuing Education Department is registering for classes coming up in August. The month kicks off with computer, crafts and exercise classes.

Outlook: Learn how to use more than the Outlook address book as this class focuses on maximizing e-mail communications, scheduling appointments, tracking tasks and coordinating projects. This class also provides the foundation for using other e-mail programs. Class meets Fridays, Aug. 1- 22, 1- 3 p.m. Cost is $43.

Access 2003: This introductory course teaches basic Access terminology and features. Students will explore how to create a database, manipulate data to create reports, and forms and techniques for sorting, filtering and building queries. Class meets Fridays, Aug. 1- 20, 8 a.m. to noon. Cost is $84.

Jazzercise: This blend of jazz dance and exercise is perfect for any fitness level. The class includes a one-hour high-intensity aerobic workout, muscle toning and strengthening with weights. One class will meet Mondays and Wednesdays, Aug. 4- 27, 5:45- 6:45 p.m. Another class will meet at the same time on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Aug. 5- 28. Cost for either class is $26.

Yoga: Designed to connect the mind and body, this class will focus on strength and balance movements to increase flexibility and reduce stress. Class will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays, Aug. 5- 28, 5:45- 6:45 p.m. Cost is $26.

Women's Bellydance: This popular class teaches the ancient, feminine dance of the Middle East and North Africa. Class for beginners meets Mondays and Wednesdays, Aug. 4- 27, 5:45- 6:45 p.m. The intermediate-advanced class will meet the same dates from 7- 8 p.m. Cost for either class is $36.

Scrapbooking: Learn how to turn photographs and memories into a beautiful scrapbook. This intermediate class covers distressing, paper-tearing, punches, embellishments and more. Class will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays, Aug. 5- 14, 6:30- 8:30 p.m. Cost is $26.

Sign Language (advanced): Enhance skills in American Sign Language to better communicate with those with hearing disabilities. Class meets Tuesdays and Thursdays, Aug. 5- 28, 6:30- 8:30 p.m. Cost is $41.

Conversational Spanish (advanced): This class is for students who have mastered present tense of the Spanish language and will cover additional vocabulary and tenses. Class will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays, Aug. 5- 28, from 5:30- 7:30 p.m. Cost is $41.

Glass Mosaic: Make beautiful stained-glass mosaic items for the garden. Learn how to use a glass cutter, mosaic cutter, pliers to shape glass shards and grouting techniques. Class meets July 31, 10 a.m.- 1 p.m. Cost is $24 plus the cost of the mosaic kit.

Professional Truck Driving: Almost 100 percent of these students obtain a Class A license to become a truck driver. Class includes 10 hours of classroom instruction and 140 hours of practical behind-the-wheel training. Class meets Monday through Friday, July 28 to Aug. 15, 6:30 a.m.- 5 p.m. Cost is $4,295 (cash) or $5,405 (financed).
