Drawing of a winning name for a Polaris Ranger donated by Jim Hoffpauir Inc. will be Aug. 15 at the auto dealership in Lampasas.

The vehicle, most often used on farms and ranches to check on cattle, sheep and goats, uses little gasoline.

The Lampasas Lions Club is using the fund-raiser to support its charitable activities, including providing eye glasses for the needy and sending youths to Texas Lions Camp.

Lions also accept donations of used eye glasses to be given to the needy.
