SOCCER The Lampasas Soccer Association will hold registration for both boys' (Force) and girls' (Tri-City Express) teams on Wednesday from 6:30-8 p.m. at the Lampasas Fire Department classroom.

Players from ages 9 to 18 as of Aug. 1 are eligible. Registration forms and additional information are available on the association's Web site at lampasassoccer.org or by calling Clay Harrington at 556- 3581 or Jerry Barbero at 556- 4106.

Practices will start in August, and the season will run from September to mid-November.

The Tri-County Soccer Officials Association will conduct a Grade 7-8 recertification clinic Aug. 2 from noon to 6 p.m. in the Harker Heights Parks and Recreations Center at 407 Miller's Crossing.

Walk-in registrations will not be accepted. Referees can register online at www.stsr01.org/ availableclinics.aspx.

BADGER FOOTBALL

Lampasas High School football season tickets will be on sale at the LHS athletics office Aug. 4-8 for current ticket holders and Aug. 11-15 for non-ticket holders. Sales will be cut off Aug. 15.

BASKETBALL CAMP

The Howard Payne University Women's Basketball Fundamentals Camp is scheduled for July 28-31 at the Elliston- Cassle Wellness Center on the HPU campus.

The camp is split into two sessions, one for secondthrough eighth-graders and one for ninth- through 12th-graders. The cost of the camp is $70 and includes a T-shirt.
