Descendants of Hilory Hudson (Searcy) and Alta Ann Wright gathered for their fourth annual Wright family reunion June 21 at the Green Frog Tea Room at the Hancock Springs Hostess House at Hancock Park.

Nearly 50 were in attendance, with some coming from as far away as Louisiana and North Carolina.

The oldest in attendance was Floella Wright Claunch of Lampasas and M.L. and Wanda Wright of Robinson.

Second-generation family members in attendance included Gerald (J.D.) and Pat Brooks of Sulphur, La.; Tom and Melissa Kay Howard Haig of Azle; Sharon Howard Bedford of Sanger; Kevin and Linda Gayle Wright Warnken of Round Rock; Darrel and Linda Kay Wright and Kristy Claunch, all of Lampasas; Travis and Connie Wright Ener of Princeton; Jerry and Charlotte Claunch Rogers of Palestine; and Bill and Marsha Wright Davidson of Midlothian.

Third-generation family members included Sheryl Dockrey; Tony and Tiffany Wright and Brooke, Brylee and Brynn; Teddy and Shelly Haig Mills and Charlotte (Charlie); Danyell Blackmon Ellenburg and Walker, Alexis and Makenzi; Scott and Melissa Wright and Colby, Brittany and Delaney; Chris and Jenna Wright and Joel, Christopher and Anthony; Ryan Avery Wright; Charla Rogers Griggs and Lawrence Jr., Brianna and Jose; Amanda Rogers Gonzales and Dakota Matthews; and Gola Warnken Lyne and Aidan.

There was plenty of food, visiting and swimming at the Hancock Springs Pool.

Plans for the fifth reunion are under way.
