The Area Agency on Aging of Central Texas will present "Preventing strokes, signs & symptoms of strokes & recovery, One man's personal journey," on July 23 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Central Texas Council of Governments office, 2180 N. Main, conference room B-D9, Belton.

Walter Langford, a stroke survivor, will discuss prior stroke warnings, having a stroke and recovering from a stroke.

Lynn Slough of Texas Home Health Hospice also will speak to the audience.

She has 17 years of cardiac, oncology and ICU nursing experience.

A video presentation will be given by the National Stroke Association and, and a Free Stroke Recovery guide will be available.
