Clementine Walker Keystone Square Museum's special exhibit honoring 2008 Spring Ho Parade marshal Clementine Walker is open.

The exhibition features photographs of Mrs. Walker and special awards she has received over the years. Newspaper articles recording her role in working with the Lampasas Colored School also are included.

Mrs. Walker was one of three students to graduate from the school in 1954.

After graduation, she earned a degree from Holy Cross School of Nursing, and her diploma and graduation photograph are included in the exhibit.

Mrs. Walker returned to Lampasas after graduation and has enjoyed a career that has spanned more than 40 years with Lampasas Nursing & Rehab. The facility honored her in 2006 for her service, and in 2007, "Walker Way" was dedicated at the facility.

Mrs. Walker has through the years been at most events in the community, from arts to civic events and many other activities.

Museum hours for the remainder of Spring Ho through Sunday are 1-4 p.m.

Regular hours are Mondays, 10 a.m. to noon, and Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., or by appointment.
