Texas Hill Country magazine features a prominent, 16-page spread on the city of Lampasas in its Summer 2008 issue.

The Blanco-based publication seeks to highlight the best features of the Hill Country with its rich history, beautiful scenery, local entertainment and events.

Numerous photos accompany the feature by editor John Hallowell, which highlights the history of Lampasas, some of its prominent buildings and a few of its annual festivals.

Other portions of the quarterly magazine feature Castle Rock, Sisterdale, the Gillespie County Fair, Garner State Park and the San Saba Rodeo Parade.
