SPORTS BANQUET

The Lampasas High School football and volleyball teams have scheduled their athletic banquet for Jan. 8, 2008 at 7 p.m. at the Lampasas Middle School cafeteria.

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the LISD athletic office or at Hodges & Sargent Pharmacy.

SOCCER

The Lampasas High School boys' soccer team will be hosting an alumni scrimmage against the varsity team on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the varsity soccer field.

Interested alumni should be soccer lettermen and need to leave a contact number for coach Greg Porter at 556-2327.

HUNTING

The National Wild Turkey Federation Hunting Heritage Banquet is scheduled for Feb. 7, 2008 at the Howard Johnson Inn in Killeen.

Tickets are $40 for men, $35 for women and $15 for children. Admission includes an annual membership, a meal and entry to the auction. The organization serves Harker Heights, Killeen, Copperas Cove, Lampasas and surrounding areas. For more information, call Bobby or Ashley Jackson at (254) 542-4557.
