SPORTS BANQUET

The Lampasas High School football and volleyball teams have scheduled their athletic banquet for Jan. 8, 2008 at 7 p.m. at the Lampasas Middle School cafeteria.

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the LISD athletic office or at Hodges & Sargent Pharmacy.

SOCCER

The Lampasas High School boys' soccer team will be hosting an alumni scrimmage against the varsity team on Jan. 2, 2008, at 7 p.m. at the varsity soccer field.

Interested alumni should be soccer lettermen and need to leave a contact number for coach Greg Porter at 556-2327. The first 20 alumni to respond will make up the team.

HUNTING

The National Wild Turkey Federation Hunting Heritage Banquet is scheduled for Feb. 7, 2008 at the Howard Johnson Inn in Killeen.

Tickets are $40 for men, $35 for women and $15 for children. Admission includes an annual membership, a meal and entry to the auction. The organization serves Harker Heights, Killeen, Copperas Cove, Lampasas and surrounding areas. For more information, call Bobby or Ashley Jackson at (254) 542-4557.

The All-District 25-4A football team has been released and is scheduled to appear in Friday's edition of the Dispatch Record.
