Judge reinstates burn ban

Because numerous fires have been reported and responded to by various county fire departments after lifting a temporary burn ban, Lampasas County Judge Wayne Boultinghouse has reinstated the burn ban citing the severe fire danger present in the county.

The ban was removed Nov. 13 following several days of wet weather.
