Green earns TTU degree

Ashley Green

Ashley L. Green graduated with honors, cum laude, from Texas Tech University with a bachelor of arts and journalism degree with an emphasis on broadcast from the College of Mass Communications during December commencement exercises.

Miss Green, a 2004 Lampasas High School graduate, was in the top 10 percent of her class and was a two-year member of the Lady Badger soccer program.

During her three years at Texas Tech, she was a member of the Association of Women in Communication; Theta Delta Epsilon, a public service sorority with a focus on volunteerism; Gamma Beta Phi, an honor society; and the Dean's List for all three years.

Miss Green is a producer for Fox34 News of Lubbock. She has been with the company for eight months.

She is the daughter of Mike and Karyn Green of Lampasas.
